July 23, 2008 - Border Guard officer Lance Corporal David Shriki from Rishon Letzion, who was critically wounded in the shooting attack near the Lions’ Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem 12 days ago, died of his wounds Wednesday at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in the capital.

July 16, 2008 - Two years and four days after having been attacked and abducted by Hizbullah on the Israeli side of the Lebanese border (July 12, 2006), the bodies of IDF soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev were returned home.

July 2, 2008 - Three people were murdered and more than 70 people were injured when a bulldozer driven by a Palestinian resident of east Jerusalem trampled over pedestrians and vehicles and plowed into two buses in downtown Jerusalem at around noon Wednesday.
The victims are:

June 5, 2008 - Amnon Rosenberg, 51, was killed Thursday morning when a Qassam rocket fired from northern Gaza landed in Kibbutz Nir Oz, located within Eshkol Regional Council limits in the Negev.

May 12, 2008 - Shuli Katz, 70, from Kibbutz Gevaram, was killed when a Kassam rocket fell a few meters from where she was standing in Moshav Yesha, 9 miles east of the Gaza Strip.

May 9, 2008 - Jimmy Kedoshim, 48, father of three, a member of kibbutz Kfar Aza, was killed by mortar fire from the Gaza Strip while tending his garden.

April 25, 2008 - Two Israeli guards, Shimon Mizrachi, 53, of Bat Hefer and Eli Wasserman, 51, of Alfei Menashe, were killed Friday morning in a shooting attack in an industrial zone near Nitzanei Oz  in the Sharon region. The two were in charge of checking Palestinians arriving from the West Bank.

April 16, 2008 - Sgt. Matan Ovdati, 19, of Moshav Patish, Sgt. Menhash Al-Banyat, 20, from Bedouin community of Kseife & Sgt. David Papian, 21, from Tel Aviv, were killed Wednesday morning when a Givati Brigade force entered the Gaza Strip in pursuit of Palestinian terrorists who approached security fence near Kibbutz Be'eri, two other soldiers were wounded.

April 9, 2008 - Oleg Lipson, 37, and  Lev Cherniak, 53, both from Beersheva, were killed when at least four Palestinian terrorists infiltrated the Nahal Oz fuel terminal from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

April 9, 2008 - St.-Sgt. Sayef Bisan, 21, of the Druze village of Jat in the western Galilee was killed in an exchange of fire with Palestinian terrorists in an overnight IDF operation against terror infrastructure in the southern Gaza Strip.

March 9, 2008 - St.-Sgt Liran Banai, 20, of Ashkelon, who was critically wounded when Palestinian terrorists ambushed IDF jeep patrolling the Gaza Strip border last Thursday, died of his wounds in Beersheba's Soroka Medical Center this morning.

March 6, 2008 - Eight students were murdered in a terrorist shooting attack in Yeshivat Merkaz HaRav in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem on Thursday night. 
Eleven were wounded, three in serious condition.

March 1, 2008 - St.-Sgt. Eran Dan-Gur, 20, of Jerusalem & St.-Sgt. Doron Asulin, 20, of Beersheba, were killed in an exchange of fire with Hamas terrorists during an IDF anti-terror operation in northern Gaza.

February 27, 2008 - Roni Yichye, 47, of Moshav Bitcha in southern Israel, a student at Sapir College, was killed Wednesday afternoon when a Kassam rocket exploded in a parking lot near the Sderot campus. He died shortly after sustaining massive wounds to his chest.
